Fra og med 19.10 kan Novapoint jobbe integrert med Quadri DCM. Quadri DCM er en modellbasert samhandlingsløsning i nettskyen der alle fagdisipliner kan dele den sentrale modellen. Løsningen ivaretar samtidighetskontroll slik at man kan jobbe parallelt med forskjellige deler av samme modell.
Følgende sentrale funksjoner er nye:
Fra og med 19.10 kan man importere en annen Quadri-modell direkte inn i aktiv modell, dvs uten at det opprettes en import-oppgave.
Fra og med 19.10 kan man koble til et sett av laserscan-filer (LAS, LAZ, XYZ, TXT). Man importerer ikke punktskyen men den legges inn i permen som en datakilde som man kan se på i 3D, sammen med f.eks. en Quadri-modell.
Punktene leses og det skapes en indeksert fil (PLF - Processed LiDAR Files) som er optimalisert for visualisering av enorme punktskyer, dvs flere milliarder punkter. Ved å utnytte fargekoder på punktene kan man videre danne seg et meget godt 3D-bilde av eksisterende situasjon.
Punktskyer kan også importeres og vil i denne prosessen typisk benyttes som input til å beregne terrengoverflaten.

The old functions in Road model for showing Plan and Profile, and also Perspective viewer have been removed. 3D viewing of roads is now done in the 3D-window in Novapoint Base. Drawing of Plan and Profile is done either in Novapoint Base or directly in CAD.
Draw long section from Road model and from Quadri (terrain) has now been simplified a good deal by removing surplus selections from the dialogues. This includes terrain and drawing element options that are now dealt with through Calculcation basis and Illustration objects in Novapoint Base.
The principle is that if it is to be used in calculations, i.e. terrain and other roads etc, then it must be included in the Calculation basis. If it is to be used to illustrate, such as objects and other roads, then it must be included in the Illustration objects.
In the image over Veg 002 and Veg 005 have been added to Illustration objects.

Note: If you change the Calculation basis or selection of Illustration objects, the road must be rebuilt before you draw a long section.
As for the long sections, this has also been simplified. The same applies with regard to Calculation basis and Illustration objects.
These two functions were previously available under Railway in the Autocad-menu. They have now been moved and integratedin the Railway model and can be found under Tools there. This means that you no longer need to switch to Autocad to access these functions, as they are accessible in both Autocad and Novapoint Base.
The functionality in Novapoint Bridge is the same for NP 19.10 as for NP 19.00.
Caused by changes in the core of the system, some new issues have been introduced. See the page for known issues. These issues will be corrected as soon as possible in the upcoming releases.
Novapoint Tunnel is not included in Novapoint 19.10. The modeled tunnel in 3D can be imported into NP 19.10 through the DWG-format.

NP Reinforcement is included in NP 19.10, but only in the AutoCAD environment. The functionality in NP Reinforcement is the same for NP 19.10 as for NP 18.20 and NP 18.30.
