Report to Excel

The pull-down button for Excel reports gives two options:

  • Quantity
  • Geometry


Report options

Pick the reporttype to use, and language (if selection is available).

Check the checkbox for “Only summary sheet” if you would like only the summary sheet in the Novapoint Quantity report.


Set the interval from-to to take the report from.
It is also possible to check the box to use the full length of the road task (this is the default).

Report sectioning

Fixed interval (m): Default is 10m. Will make the combined report with 10m intervals.
Possible to set a user-defined interval, ex. 100m.

As calculated intervals: Will section the quantity report based on the calculation interval set in the road task.

No sectioning: Will make a traditional Combined Novapoint report, but without any sectioning interval. In the excel workbook the sheets of a traditional combined Novapoint report will be available.


Reports for:

  • Alignment geometry
  • TILOS quantity
  • TILOS cut/fill

Traditional Novapoint Quantity reports are not available from this dialog. Use the Quantity-tool instead of Geometry-tool to get the quantity reports.

Use this function to generate report of various data sets to Excel.

  • Select report type and hit the button Send to generate the report.

Run the function from the following locations of the floating window Road Model:

MOUS_ICO Toolbar: Report to Excel Report to Excel
MOUS_ICO Menu: Road > Send > Report to Excel…

The dialog box Send Report to Excel will pop up.


Shows the chainage included in the report.


Select the report (data set) from the pull down menu


Use this button to customize the national and international reports (data set) available in the pull down menu at Report.


Use this button to execute the function.
